Bowls: Service for twelve

Bowls for Anna's dishwear

I am nearing the end of the dishware set I am making with servicefor twelve.  I have now finished the bowls and they are drying out on top of the kiln.  Last night I started throwing the final pieces for the set; dinner plates.  I only have a dozen bats so I have to work strategically.   I only ended up throwing two dinner plates because the other 10 bats were being used for other pottery.   Those will all be coming soon and the whole set will be complete!  am happy with how the trimming turned out for these bowls.  I think they flow nicely with the plates and the mugs that are already done.

Cut from the bats and ready to trim

Drying out on top of the kiln

Trimmed and finished. Drying out upside down allows the foot to dry at the same rate as the rim to avoid cracking.
