Candle Pots (Part 2)

I wanted to give you a brief update on my candle pots.  They now all have trimmed feet and cut-outs circling the top of each pot near the rim.  During my lantern glaze firing, I put these pots on top of the kiln so they would fully dry out.  Once they were dried and hardened, I lightly sanded each pot to remove any roughness or potential sharp spots from the cut-outs.  They are ready to be bisqued.  Since I am up-to-date with my glaze firings, I am once again building my product/inventory for more bisque and glaze firings.  Stay tuned…I am nearly ready to be fully “open for business”!
