My lanterns are finally for sale on Etsy.com. I have been wanting to add them to my page for a while now. I am slowing building my online store, adding a few things at a time. All four of these lanterns are now available. You can check them out on etsy by clicking here. I have truly loved creating these and have plans to create more to add to the series. I want to expand my color palate in crystals as well as create new shapes and sizes. I am definitely intrigued by lighting in general, especially involving candles! These lanterns are ideal for candles. Using two to three-inch pillar candles creates a great atmosphere when they are lit. These would look great in a fireplace, on the hearth, the mantel, or create a unique centerpiece on your table. Take them outside for your barbecue and swap out the candle for a citronella.
I am generally drawn to greens when it comes to color, but I just can’t get enough of this cobalt crystalline! I am always surprised by the boldness of their color and crystal formations. This next lantern reminds me so much of a lighthouse. I think it would look really neat in a nautical styled room. It gives the flare of a lighthouse, but is abstract enough to be really unique without becoming a mass-produced model of a lighthouse. This was not intended to be nautical, but it just reminds me of that.
Of course I had to include a picture of them lit. You might recognize this picture from my evening photo shoot with my lanterns and domes that I blogged a couple back. This was taken in Downtown Exeter.
