Finally, it’s here!

If you are confused as to what you are looking at, this is my new control board for my kiln.  I needed a new one because the one that was supposed to be operating my kiln wasn’t holding a proper cycle anymore and was doing its own thing.  It came two days ago, along with some new wires and a brand new thermocouple!  I can’t wait to get it going and put an end to this whole saga!  A friend from our church is coming over Sunday afternoon to help me install it.  I hope to have my first test firing that evening.  If all goes well, I should be good to go with essentially a brand new kiln since I have new elements, a new thermocouple, and a new control board!  Yesterday I placed my clay order and included some more raw ingredients for glazing.  500 pounds of clay should be arriving on Tuesday.  I will let you know how the test glaze goes.  Thanks for your prayers and encouragement!

This is what the front of the control board looks like
