Well, not me sadly, but a piece of my pottery! Last week I had another sale from my Etsy Shop. One of my teapots sold. Whenever I have a sale I am always excited to see where it will be going. When I looked through the transaction I saw that the buyer was from Paris, France! How amazing! This is my first piece to travel overseas! If only I could have hand delivered it to them. I actually did offer that. “For an additional fee I am willing to hand-deliver :)”. I got a chuckle but to the post office I must go.
A couple of days ago I got out the bubble wrap and peanuts to get the teapot packed for its journey. With my France inspired mug in hand, full of yummy coffee (decaf of course), I started bubble wrapping. I think this is the most excited I have ever been to get a piece ready for shipping. Here is a peak at the teapot that was purchased:
I hope it travels well! I used a lot of peanuts and bubble wrap. I am just nervous whenever I have to ship something. I don’t want any breakage. I experience enough of that with firing! Teapot – enjoy your home in Paris!
