I only have words to share today, no pictures. In twelve days I will be in the Yuletide craft fair. I can’t believe it is just in twelve days! I have so much work to get done before then! I am anxious for the craft fair to be done with only for the fact that I will finally be able to take a breather and enjoy the holiday season without the stress of work looming over my head. Saturday morning I headed into Portland, Maine to pick up an order for more glaze ingredients and then headed to Michael’s Craft Store in hopes of finding some potential molds to use. When I got back home I headed to the field for our field hockey game.
I have loved coaching this season. It has been tricky to have my work day split everyday, taking away valuable time to work. I am definitely glad to be coaching though. This is our last week in the season before I am back to a normal schedule – which I will gladly welcome back!
I am off for an early start. Today I am mixing new glazes, glazing a kiln load, firing up the glaze kiln, trimming pots, throwing pedestals and collecting dishes, and working on new commission items! All this needs to be done before 4:00 so I can head to field hockey practice and then off to young life club afterwards! Mondays are a bit crazy!
