The very first utensil crock made in this shape, design and glazing combination was done for my husband’s aunt. All that she said she wanted was a utensil crock and game me the dimensions for the size she was wanting. Other than that requirement, I could do what I wanted with the shape and design of the piece. The crock that sits on my own counter is a simple stainless steel cylinder. Nothing exciting, but it does the job. I wanted to do more than just a plain cylinder – this was the shape and design I went with for my aunt. When I asked her about which glaze she wanted, she said she loved both the bright cobalt and the green, so I suggest we do them all. I added in the navy crystalline as well for a deeper blue. I loved the way the glazes combined with each other. Any angle has bright vibrant colors and awesome crystals! Since making that first one, I have had orders for three more in the same shape, design, and glazing combination. I guess it was a hit! This utensil crock was made for Molly. It is ready to be filled and set on your counter – enjoy Molly!
