New Season = Soup Season

The summer was short for me.  Literally flew right by me.  My family and I traveled so much, I feel I hardly had time to soak in the sun and summer months.  There were great times and trips and there was heartache.  Do you ever feel life sometimes moves too quickly for you to process?  I have felt that way the last two months.  We have one more trip this weekend and then we are home for a while.  I can’t wait for the regularity, some routine, a chance to actually keep my home clean and live out of my dresser and not my suitcase.  I am looking forward to getting back into meal planning and cooking again!  Fall is here and the cool weather is settling in, here in New England.  This of course means, SOUP!  I could eat soup every day.  I love soup, so naturally last several days in the studio I have been working on soup crocks and soup tureens.  I am excited to get them glazed and fired.  While I have been rather quiet here on my blog, I can guarantee you that my studio time has been busy, as I have been building up inventory and new pieces.  Lots of new work will be posted over the next few weeks here as well as added to my Etsy shop.
