Cozy Up

Are you a tea person or a coffee person?  Personally I would say I’m a coffee person overall, but I do love a cup of tea in the afternoon.  When I do have tea at home, I prefer the whole set.  I actually boil my water and then steep my tea in a teapot before serving it up in my little tea mug.  Maybe it’s just a psychological thing, but I seem to really enjoy the tea so much more when I drink it this way.

This copper crystalline teapot is one of my favorites.  I actually fired this one before my son Greyson was born but just never shared.  Actually, there is a lot of things I haven’t shared as far as my studio work goes…just look at how much I have blogged since he was born.  Seven.  Seven is the number of times I have blogged since I introduced you to my second son, Greyson.  That would be seven posts in five months.  That is a blogging low for me.  I definitely want to keep up with my blog and share with you all what I’m working on in my studio and sometimes in my life too.  I haven’t slowed down.  I have actually been creating so much, it’s been hard to keep up with.  When I come home from the studio, I jump right into “mommy-mode” and forget to blog.  I don’t like to be on the computer when I am home with my boys anyways, so it’s not an actual loss to me.  Sometimes, however, I feel like keeping up with my blog can hang over my head at times, especially when I know I have been quiet on here.

I hope you readers and followers enjoy seeing new posts.  I have a LOT of new work about to cycle through my kilns, so I hope to be more motivated to stay more regularly updated with you all.  Thanks for following me and supporting me!  You all are awesome.  Remember now through Christmas I’m offering free shipping on my Etsy shop.  Use this code at the checkout:  APVSHIP
