Fiendish – that would be the word I would describe how I feel in the studio these days. My pots are all stacking up and I am actually loosing space for new pots coming out of the kilns. I am trying to keep my production high and steady while maintaining all the trimming, finish work, firing and glazing. When I look around my studio, I do feel a sense of pride at all the work I have created. There is, however, this undercurrent of stress and pressure to keep creating more and more, as the dates of the craft fair approach. As you may or may not know, I am a juried artist with the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. It is an honor to a member of this prestigious group alongside so many talented artists! The 84th Annual Craftsmen’s Fair will take place from August 5 – 13, 2017 at Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH. This will be my first ever fair with the League (both as a booth holder and as an attendee). I would say I am equal parts excited and nervous. All are welcome to attend and I hope to see any of you that will be in the area. I will be there August 9-13. You can find me in Tent #6, booth 614. Until then, I am throwing like a fiend!
